GENERAL INFORMATION
NuCrop 0-0-25 with 17% Sulfur is a proprietary liquid fertilizer solution, derived from the highest quality food grade nutrients available. NuCrop’s proprietary design promotes superior absorption and nutrient translocation within the plant. NuCrop is recommended for Row Crops, Hay, Pasture, Vegetable Crops, Fruit and Nut Crops, Ornamentals and Turf. NuCrop is ideal for drip irrigation systems, ground and aerial applications. It is compatible with other Grasshopper NPK fertilizers, micronutrients and can be tank mixed with most herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.

PRECAUTION: It is best to apply NuCrop 0-0-25-17 in the early morning or late evening to maximize uptake and efficiency and to avoid crop injury. As with the use of any agrichemical, crop injury is always possible. Crop stress can be brought on by various environmental and/or agronomic factors, especially those associated with dry conditions and high temperatures. Do not apply NuCrop to drought stressed crops. The user is responsible for all risks associated with use and handling. Normal vegetative and/or reproductive growth is not expected to be adversely affected in most situations when this product is used according to label directions. Foliar fertilization is intended as a supplement to a regular fertilization program and may not, by itself, provide all the nutrients normally required by crops or other intended plants. Avoid strong acids or contact with aluminum, mild steel and brass. Jar tests should be performed to confirm compatibility before mixing with other components.
RECOMMENDED RATES
Rates and timing of applications are dependent on local conditions, and should always be made as a result of soil or plant tissue analysis. When used as directed, NuCrop will rarely supply all the nutrients required by plants. Best results are achieved when NuCrop is used to supplement a fertility program based on soil tests. Please consult your local Grasshopper Fertilizer Representative, Certified Crop Advisor or Extension Agent for use guidelines. Ground or aerial systems may be utilized to deliver NuCrop. Use sufficient water to ensure thorough coverage. Product may be applied either diluted or undiluted. Unless otherwise listed below, a general rate for most other crops would be 4 – 6 qts/per acre when sufficient foliage is present. Higher rates may be applied if done so first on a small test area to determine acceptability.
Alfalfa: Apply 1 – 2 gal. per acre after each cutting when sufficient foliage is present.
Almonds: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre at full leaf. Repeat at early nut expansion.
Apples: Apply 4 – 8 qts. per acre prior to fruit set or post-harvest.
Asparagus: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre at the beginning of mid-fern development and repeat at 14 – 21 day intervals.
Beans (Dry): Single Application: Apply 1 – 3gal. per acre at early pod formation. Multiple Applications: Apply 1- 2 gal. per acre at early full flower and repeat in 10 – 14 days.
Beans (Green, Lima): Apply 1 – 2 gal. per acre at early flower and repeat in 7 – 10 days.
Blueberries: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre in 10-14 day intervals prior to fruiting.
Broccoli: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre after thinning, then repeat 3 weeks before head formation. Repeat again in 7 – 10 days.
Cabbage: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre after thinning, then repeat at early head formation. Repeat again in 14 – 21 days.
Caneberries: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre prior to fruit set.
Canola: Apply 1 – 2 gal. per acre pre-bloom.
Cantaloupes: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre at early flowering and repeat in 7 – 10 days.
Cauliflower: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre after thinning or transplant, then repeat at early head set. Repeat again at 10 – 14 day intervals.
Celery: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre when plants are 8 – 12 inches tall and repeat at 10 – 14 day intervals.
Cherries: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre prior to fruit set.
Christmas Trees: Apply 4 – 10 qts. per acre (2.94 – 7.35 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft.) when sufficient foliage is present.
Citrus: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at early bloom and repeat after fruit set.
Corn, Corn (Seed), Corn (Sweet): Apply 2 –4 gal. per acre foliarly at V-6 to V-8 stage as a partial side-dress Potash (K) replacement. Apply 1 – 3 gal. per acre foliarly at pre-tassel as a Potash (K) supplement. Apply 1 – 2 gal. per acre foliarly at VT to R-2 stage with fungicides or insecticides. These applications can be combined with glyphosate.
Cotton: Seedling Stage: Apply 3 – 4 qts. per acre when first true leaves appear. After Seedling Stage: Apply 2 – 4 qts. per acre. Boll Development: 1 – 2 gal. per acre at early boll formation and repeat at 14 – 21 day intervals.
Cranberries: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at hook stage and repeat after fruit set.
Cucumbers: Single Application: Apply 10 – 16 qts. per acre at early fruit set. Multiple Applications: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at early flowering and repeat at 10 – 14 day intervals.
Filberts: Single Application: Apply 10 – 16 qts. per acre at early nut filling. Multiple Applications: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at early leaf expansion and repeat at 14 – 21 day intervals.
Flax: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre at early boll development.
Grain Sorghum: Apply 1-3 gal. per acre after pollination.
Grapes: Apply 2 – 4 qts. per acre prior to fruit set.
Grass (Seed Production): Apply 2-4 gal. per acre at seed head elongation.
Grass (Hay): Apply 1 – 3 gal. per acre after green up. Repeat process for each additional cutting. When using as a supplement to a soil applied fertility program: Apply 1 – 3 gal. per acre after green up. When fertilizing summer grasses (Bermuda, Bahai, Dallis, etc.), optimum results are achieved when nighttime temperatures are 65 degrees or higher. Do not apply to drought stressed grass.
Hops: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre before cone development.
Lentils: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at early flowering and repeat at 10 – 14 day intervals.
Lettuce: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre after thinning, then repeat at early head formation. Repeat again at 10 – 14 day intervals.
Nectarines: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre prior to fruit set.
Nursery Stock: Apply 4 – 10 qts. per acre (3 – 8 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft.) when sufficient foliage is present. PRECAUTION: If applying this product undiluted to nursery stock, avoid possible leaf/tip burn by testing a small sampling of plants for at least one week prior to applying product to entire stock.
Okra: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at bud stage and repeat at 10 – 14 day intervals.
Olives: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at early fruit development and repeat as needed.
Onions: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at mid-set development and repeat at 14 – 21 day intervals.
Ornamentals: Apply 4 – 10 qts. per acre (3 – 8 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft.) when sufficient foliage is present. PRECAUTION: If applying this product undiluted to ornamentals, avoid possible leaf/tip burn by testing a small sampling of plants for at least one week prior to applying product to entire stock.
Pasture (Grazing): Apply 1 – 3 gal. per acre (depending soil fertility / nutrient requirements) every 30 days or following pasture rotation. When using as a supplement to a soil applied fertility program: Apply 1 – 3 gal. per acre every 30 days or following pasture rotation. NuCrop can also be mixed with other Grasshopper products containing phosphorus, potash and micronutrients to produce a more nutritionally complete forage. When fertilizing summer pastures (Bermuda, Bahai, Dallis, etc.), optimum results are achieved when nighttime temperatures are 65 degrees or higher. Do not apply to drought stresses grass.
Peaches: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre prior to fruit set.
Peanuts: Single Application: Apply 1 – 2 gal. per acre at early pod development. Multiple Applications: Apply 1 – 2 gal. per application at early bloom and repeat at 14 – 21 day intervals until pods are filled.
Pears: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre prior to fruit set or post-harvest.
Peas: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at early flowering and repeat in 10 – 14 days.
Pecans: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at full leaf and repeat at early nut expansion.
Peppers: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at early fruit set and repeat in 10 – 14 days.
Plums: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre prior to fruit set.
Potatoes: Single Application: Apply 10 – 16 qts. per acre at mid-tuber development. Multiple Applications: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at tuber initiation and repeat at 10 – 14 day intervals until maximum tuber development is reached.
Rice: Apply 2 – 4 gal. per acre at panicle emergence.
Small Grains: Apply 1 – 3 gal. per acre foliarly from spring greenup to early joint (Feekes 8 ) as a partial replacement of soil-applied Nitrogen (N). Apply 1 – 3 gal. per acre at or near flag leaf stage as a Nitrogen (N) supplement.
Soybeans: Apply 1 – 3 gal. per acre at V6 – R4 stage as a Potash (K) supplement. Multiple Applications: 1 – 2 gal. per acre with 1st glyphosate application during early vegetative stages and a 2nd application of 1 – 2 gal just before ‘pod fill’.
Spinach: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre when sufficient foliage is present and repeat in 14 – 21 days.
Squash: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre at early fruit set and repeat at 10 – 14 day intervals.
Strawberries: Apply 2 – 3 qts. per acre at early flowering and repeat every 14 days. First fall application may be applied when the height of new growth is at least 3 inches.
Sugar Beets: Apply 10 qts. per acre at the 10 – 12 leaf stage and repeat at the 20 leaf stage.
Sunflower: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre when outer seeds start to fill and repeat in 10 – 14 days.
Sweet Potatoes: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at tuber initiation and repeat in 10 – 14 days.
Tobacco: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre at plant bed stage to near maturity as needed to maintain growth and quality.
Tomatoes (Process): Single Application: Apply 10 qts. per acre 10 – 14 days after full bloom. Multiple Applications: Apply 4 – 6 qts. per acre at full bloom. Repeat at 10 – 14 day intervals.
Turf, Bent Grass: Apply 4.5 – 6.8 lbs. of Nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. per year. May apply in multiple applications of 0.125 to 0.25 lbs. of Nitrogen.
Bermuda Grass (Turf): Apply 9.0 –11.5 lbs. of Nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. per year. May apply in multiple applications of 0.25 lbs. to 0.5 lbs. of Nitrogen.
Bermuda Grass (Hay): Apply 3 – 8 gal. per acre after green up. Repeat process for each additional cutting. When using as a supplement to a soil applied fertility program: Apply 1-3 gals per acre after green up. Optimum results are achieved when nighttime temperatures are 65 degrees or higher. Do not apply to drought stressed grass.
Blue Grass (includes other Cool Season Grass): Apply 3.75 – 4.25 lbs. of Nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. per year. May apply in multiple applications as needed.
St. Augustine (includes other Warm Season Grass): Apply 2.5 – 3.5 lbs. of Nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. per year. May apply in multiple applications as needed.
Watermelons: Apply 6 – 10 qts. per acre at early flowering and repeat 7 – 10 days later.
TANK MIXING AND BLENDING
Dilute with water and blend with other nutrients and pesticides only at the time of application and in the amounts required. Jar tests should be performed to confirm compatibility before mixing with other components. Fill the clean spray or mix tank 3/4 with water, begin agitation, add other materials in the following sequence (unless otherwise directed by their labeling):
1. Add 3/4 total water to the tank.
2. Turn on the agitator or recirculation line.
3. Add prescribed amount of NuCrop to the tank.
4. Add any soluble powders.
5. Add liquid flowable materials.
6. Bring water to volume and recirculate before spraying.
CAUTION: Harmful if swallowed. Do not take internally. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. May cause skin irritation. Avoid contact with or inhalation of the spray mist. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves and faceshield) when handling this product. Do not apply this product in such a manner as to directly expose workers or other persons. If product is being mixed with pesticides, spray adjuvants and/or compatibility agents, follow the “Precautionary Statements/FIRST AID” on the product’s labeling.
FIRST AID IF SWALLOWED:
• Have person drink large volumes of water (2 to 4 glasses of water).
• Call a poison control center or physician immediately for treatment advice.
• Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or physician.
• Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
IF IN EYES:
• Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 to 20 minutes.
• Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye.
• Call a poison control center or physician for treatment advice.
IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING:
• Take off contaminated clothing.
• Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15 to 20 minutes.
• Call a poison control center or physician for treatment advice if irritation develops.
IF INHALED:
• Move person to fresh air.
• If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth, if possible.
• Call a poison control center or physician for further treatment advice. Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center or physician, or going for treatment.

WARRANTY—CONDITIONS OF SALE
Our Directions for use of this product are based upon tests believed reliable. Follow directions carefully. Timing and method of application, weather and crop conditions, mixtures with other chemicals not specifically recommended and other influencing factors in the use of this product are beyond the control of the Seller. To the extent consistent with applicable law, Buyer assumes all risks of use, storage and handling of this material not in strict accordance with directions given herewith.
To the extent consistent with applicable law, in no case shall the Manufacturer or the Seller be liable for consequential, special or indirect damages resulting from the use or handling of this product when such use and/or handling is not in strict accordance with directions given herewith. The foregoing is a condition of sale by the Seller and is accepted as such by the Buyer.
STORAGE:
Store at temperatures between 35°F – 90°F. Keep out of reach of children and animals in a cool, dry chemical storage area. Keep container tightly closed. Do not allow water to be introduced into the container contents.
DISPOSAL:
Dispose of empty containers by triple rinsing with detergent solution or puncture and discard empty containers in a landfill in accordance with current Local, State and Federal regulations. Do not contaminate water sources by cleaning of equipment or disposal of waste.
