Is Grasshopper Foliar Fertilizer safe for animals?
Yes. Grasshopper Foliar Fertilizer can be applied while cows and horses (or other livestock) are in the pasture.
Can foliar fertilizer damage my crops?
Foliar fertilizer can damage or burn crops if applied incorrectly.
Foliar applications should always be made early in the morning or late in the evening.
Do not apply foliar fertilizer to drought stressed plants.
Do not apply foliar fertilizer in extreme heat.
Mixing foliar fertilizer with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and/or adjuvants will increase plant sensitivity. This may result in burning unless rates are reduced.
Using larger amounts than the recommended rates of foliar fertilizer can burn the foliage on the plant, and can raise the tissues nutrient levels into the toxic range.
Consult your Authorized Grasshopper Fertilizer Representative, Dealer or Crop Scout before mixing chemicals, reducing rates, and for specific application instructions.
Are there any safety precautions I need to take when using Grasshopper Foliar Fertilizer?
