How do I mix Mojo Lime?
Using commercial spray equipment, fill dilution tank 50-70% full with water and start agitation. Add the correct amount of Mojo Lime – Liquid Lime and finish filling the mixing tank. Suggested dilution rate for general use is 10 gallons of water to 1 gallon of Mojo Lime depending on the type of equipment being used. Mojo Lime – Liquid Lime is well suited for boomless nozzles, boom sprayers, hydro seeders and greenhouse irrigation systems. Mix the Mojo Lime directly before you spray using heavy agitation, and continue to agitate until you have completed the lime application.
For home lawn and garden spray equipment, add one cup of Mojo Lime – Liquid Lime to 2 gallons of water. Shake mixture in a hand-held tank or backpack tank before spraying. A general application rate for diluted spray is one gallon to 600 square feet for instant pH adjustment. For prolonged pH maintenance reapply Mojo Lime – Liquid Lime every 8 to 12 weeks. Regular soil pH testing is recommended to determine the amount of lime and the application intervals.
Do I have to use a surfactant with Mojo Lime?
No you do not have to use a surfactant when applying Mojo Lime. The ultimate goal is to have all of the Mojo Lime reach the soil and absorb into the soil.
Can I mix Mojo Lime with Grasshopper Foliar Fertilizer?
No Mojo Lime cannot be mixed with Grasshopper Foliar Fertilizers. Grasshopper Foliar Fertilizer needs to be absorbed through the plants foliage, where as Mojo Lime is absorbed through the soil so it is unable to be mixed with any foliar products.
Can I mix Mojo Lime with herbicides, insecticides, or fungicides?
No as with the Grasshopper Foliar Fertilizer, Mojo Lime cannot be mixed with any foliar applied products.
When do I need to mix Mojo Lime?
Mojo Lime needs to be mixed immediately prior to application, and does not need to sit over any length of time. Once it is in a diluted form the Mojo Lime suspension agent will not hold the liquid in a suspended form and will result in settling of the product.
Do I need agitation to mix Mojo Lime?
Heavy agitation is recommended when using Mojo Lime, so that you get a more evenly uniform application. This also allows the product to remain in suspended form and does not allow settling of the product.
Will water temperature affect mixing Mojo Lime?
No water temperature does not have an effect on the mixing of Mojo Lime, unless it is at freezing temperatures. If the water temperature is at or below freezing temperatures then you will have obvious difficulties when mixing any product, not just Mojo Lime.
